One of the newest, most exciting aspects of the printing industry is Digital Printing. Read on to learn more about this revolutionary new technology.
ABOUT DIGITAL PRINTING:
In the making for about 7 years and still changing as you are reading this, Digital Printing is as radical a change to the printing industry as CD's were to the music industry.
With Digital Printing, you can print as little as 100 copies and not have to pay for 1,000, as was previously the case. This enables you, the print buyer to purchase smaller quantities. You can change your art to target smaller, more specific groups - a powerful marketing tool.
With beautiful dot to dot registration at 133Line Screen and accurate color calibration, the quality rivals that of traditional offset printing. The only drawback is the sheet size. Soon to be available in NYC in sheet sizes of 14x20 inches, the maximum sheet size we produce now is 12x18. This will allow for a full bleed on your 11x17 inch posters.
The turnaround is incredibly fast - overnight service is available.
If you have an eye for quality, you can send us your file, receive a proof while the job stays 'in queue' and when you approve it, we will run the job right from the queue. There are no plates to set up or other costly, time consuming processes involved as there are with offset printing, so you get each sheet looking exactly as the one that is in your hand at a very economical price and in a very short time frame.
